Over the years, I have learned I have a passion for a few things: geology (specifically, geophysics), environmental action (particularly around water resources and climate), and the holistic development of people and communities. So that is what I do.
I am a geophysicist at the Illinois State Geological Survey in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois working in hydrogeology and near-surface geophysics. The Illinois State Geological Survey is a part of the Prairie Research Institute, an interdisciplinary research institute located on the University of Illinois’ campus. I volunteer with several community organizations, and I sit on the board of Young Evangelicals for Climate Action.
I enjoy writing, and I hope that this site provides some enlightenment and entertainment.
